Anirban Guha embodies the spirit of resilience, determination, and possibility. Despite being diagnosed as Spastic, Quadriplegic, Mixed Cerebral Palsy and having approximately 70% motor disability affecting the Central Nervous System (CNS) during infancy, he has consistently challenged limitations and redefined expectations throughout his life.

His journey is a powerful example of perseverance. Anirban began walking only at the age of 5½ years, overcoming significant developmental and physical challenges through relentless effort, family support, and an unwavering belief in progress.

Today, at the age of 38, he has achieved milestones that many believed would be impossible.

For over 11 years now, Anirban has been employed with the Union Bank of India, serving as a dedicated professional in New Delhi. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he has been happily married to a neurotypical spouse for more than 7 years, demonstrating that meaningful personal relationships and a fulfilling family life are achievable irrespective of disability.

Connection with 2nd Brain Foundation

Anirban's association with the Foundation is deeply personal. He is the younger brother of Arnab Guha, Co-Founder and Director of 2nd Brain Foundation. Having lived the realities of neurodevelopmental challenges and disability first-hand, he understands both the struggles and the untapped potential that exist within every special child and adult.

Why He Chose to Become Brand Ambassador

Anirban joined the Foundation as pro-bono Brand Ambassador to inspire parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and individuals within the cerebral palsy and neurodiversity community.

He believes that while challenges may be significant, progress is always possible when families, communities, and support systems work together with patience, persistence, and hope.

Advocacy & Community Engagement

Anirban has actively participated in awareness initiatives, podcasts, and educational content released through AgriHealthFood MSME and Impeccable Innovations Pvt. Ltd., sharing his experiences and helping spread awareness about neurodiversity, inclusion, resilience, and the importance of long-term support systems.

Through his public engagement, he seeks to challenge societal misconceptions surrounding disability and encourage families to focus on possibilities rather than limitations.
