Advancing Affordable Therapeutic Nutrition for Every Family
We are delighted to share a proud milestone in the journey of 2nd Brain Foundation (SBF).
The Bengaluru-based Section 8 non-profit organization was recognized among the Top 30 NGOs in India in the Urban NGO Category at the prestigious Nutritional Conclave Award 2026, organized by the Glenmark Foundation on 14 March 2026 at the esteemed IIT Delhi campus.
Representing SBF at the event was Neha Tyagi, Founder and Senior Food Scientist, who participated in discussions and networking sessions alongside leading NGOs, healthcare professionals, nutrition experts, researchers, and development-sector leaders working to address some of India’s most pressing nutritional challenges.
This recognition is a meaningful validation of our belief that nutrition is not merely about calories—it is about creating a foundation for healthier brains, healthier bodies, and better quality of life.
A Platform for Learning, Collaboration, and Impact
The Nutritional Conclave brought together organizations dedicated to improving outcomes in women and child nutrition, public health, and community development. The event provided an enriching opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from field experts, and explore innovative approaches to tackling malnutrition and nutrition-related disorders.
We sincerely thank Glenmark Foundation and all event partners for inviting us to this remarkable gathering and for creating a platform that encourages collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful social impact.
The Mission of 2nd Brain Foundation
At SBF, our mission can be explained through three simple yet powerful pillars:
We work to make science-backed therapeutic nutrition accessible and affordable for families dealing with conditions such as:
Our focus is on developing practical nutritional solutions that support gut health, reduce dietary barriers, and improve overall well-being.
Knowledge creates change.
Through workshops, summits, awareness programs, and expert-led sessions, we help parents, caregivers, educators, and communities understand the growing body of research connecting the gut, brain, behavior, immunity, and mental health.
By simplifying scientific knowledge, we empower families to make informed nutritional and lifestyle decisions.
True impact extends beyond food.
We collaborate with doctors, therapists, schools, community organizations, and social impact partners to build sustainable ecosystems of support. Our goal is to create long-term nutritional, emotional, and educational support systems while generating livelihood opportunities that strengthen communities.
Why This Recognition Matters
Millions of families continue to struggle with limited access to affordable therapeutic nutrition and evidence-based guidance. This challenge is particularly significant for neurodiverse individuals and those living with chronic health conditions.
Being recognized among India’s Top 30 Urban NGOs reinforces our commitment to bridging this gap and scaling solutions that are affordable, inclusive, and grounded in science.
While awards are encouraging, they are not the destination. They are reminders that the work must continue—and that together, we can build a future where better health is accessible to all.
Looking Ahead
As we continue our journey, we remain committed to expanding awareness around the gut-brain connection, increasing access to therapeutic nutrition, and supporting families through education and community-driven initiatives.
Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Every family deserves access to better nutrition.
And every community deserves the knowledge needed to create healthier futures.
Healing Starts in the Gut. And It Should Reach Everyone.
Thank you to our supporters, partners, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and the families who continue to inspire our work every day.
Together, we are building a healthier and more inclusive tomorrow.
